I read a thread somewhere about installing one and it got into detail of how much to chop the frame, etc., but that was a month or so ago...does anyone know if the BFH will work with a factory hitch? I just don't recall of there is THAT much frame chopping, or the bottom of the bumper just doesn't allow the clearance...

Thanks to anyone who has the info.
The pattern that comes with the bumper is around 4 1/2 inches. Better egress than no bumper at all. Not a problem unless your Jk has a factory hitch like mine. It had to go. If I plan any out of town trips, I will shove my spare in the back, and yes a 37" fits in the trunk fine. I also looked at an Or-Fab carrier, big $ tho. Took PSC 2 weeks to get me my parts.

I stacked (4) 37" X 13.5 in the back with the top on. I could get (2) with the rear seats up.

people with the BFH rear, as far as the install goes..for the future if I decided to replace this rear would I even be able too? I love this bumper, and its exactly what I have been looking for but afraid of messing up the install and dealing with a missing rear crossmember in the future lol. Thanks in advance.

I think you probably could run another bumper if you wanted. There is not really that much material cut off of the frame ends or rear crossmember. I could be wrong though, but since I don't plan on running another bumper than my BFH, I haven't thought much about it.
