Default Poison Spyder Diff Cover Install Issue

Used bolts provided and snapped first one. Torqued to 15 and was going to 30 and broke right off. Anyone else have this issue? What did you use instead? The stock bolts?

What did you use for a gasket? If you used RTV and it got inside the bolt holes I've heard of people snapping their bolts this way.

Pretty common. No idea why they give that torque spec. Too high for the bolts. Increase 5-10lbs at a time and quit at 25.

Fixed. Old half bolt out enough to grab with vise grips....thank God. New bolt in. Honest issue...Me. Forgot lock washer on that one bolt so it bottomed out. Stupid. Stupid. Oh well I don't get paid for this. Using lube locker so I went down to 25 total. No leaks. Now beer time.
