Are the Pro Comp polished wheels clearcoated?

Nope... usually all polished aftermarket wheels are a raw finish unless they specifically say clear coat. Im pretty sure all the polished procomps are raw.

I know they are not polished because the dealership sprayed some type of cleaner on mine when they washed it and it turned them white! The dealership bought me new rims.

I'm looking at some rims that are clearcoated. What's the downside of having clearcoated rims?

it'll chip off from rockrash, other than that, its the only way to go!

very easy to clean!! I love mine!

Can you reapply if it is chipped off? Or, are you just out of luck. If the clearcoat is chipped will rust form, especially on a painted rim?

I really, really hate raw polished wheels, especially with all the salt they use on the roads here. You have to rinse them off everyday to keep them from pitting. I'll never own another pair again.
