Mud tires are good in deeper snow, but not good on snow falling on the roads when it is only an inch or two.

I am leaning towards the Duratacs Here is what they look like compared to stock sahara tires (sorry I stole this pic from someone here)
Anyone have pics of Nittos next to stock tires?

Doesn't nitto have AT as well? I have heard they are pretty good as far as gripping in snow and mud, and good on the road. Never heard of trail grapplers....I have nitto mud grapplers so...meh

These are an amazing tire. But I would put the safety on for the 35's and pull the trigger on some 37's

I love my BFG KOs 35x12.5x16. Don't have an aggressive look from a distance but have gripped incredibly well everywhere I have taken it. They also did awesome over the winter. I rarely had to use 4wd.

I have the 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers. They weigh in at ~79lbs. Very heavy when you compare to some of the popular brand 37" tires which weigh ~74lbs. For your driving I would go with Duratracs. They hold their own from the folks I road with when I was stationed in Dayton.
