Default Poor Steering - Help!

OK Guys, I just bought an "08 4dr Jeep JK from a guy in Tulsa that already had been fully modified by AEV which included a 3.5" nth degree lift w/ 35'S on AEV Pintlers. While I was waiting for it to be shipped, I had the dealer there swap in 4.5" AEV springs and repalce the 35s with 37" KM2s. So now, although there is plently of height. the front wheels are getting bound up anytime I steer the slghtest bit in either direction, and when I do, the steering wheel fight to snap back to center. Even have to fight to keep the steering wheel centered when driving straight. This obvioulsy sucks, can anyof you guys shed some light on what might be needed to correct this problem? Thanks!

You need a dropped pitman arm on your steering box to put the steering linkage back parallel, its at too much of an angle now with the lift....

4.5" springs, 37's and stock control arms? I don't think those cam bolts are giving you enough caster.

Did you drive this JK before they swapped the springs?

If it drove OK, then the dealer may not have made all the necessary changes for the 4.5" springs.

The track bar mounting bra has different adjustments for each kit as well as the bump stops.

Use the SEARCH function and you will find all the details of these adjustments or contact AEV.

AEV makes a drag link flip kit that is perfectly matched for your AEV lift.

The Premium lift includes this flip kit but the basic does not. You must have the basic kit.

You can order it from Northridge4x4 for a few hundred bucks.
