I would get the leveling kit first, just to give it a little height. Then you can look for some taller tires. Maybe add some wheel spacers and the jeep will look more modified. Just my opinion. If you decide to do this, I will sell you some spidertrax wheel spacer, brand new, never been installed, still in the box, for 175 plus shipping. Not trying to hijack your thread, just trying to pass on a great deal to you.

Either quick discos or evap skid id say...Go with what makes life easy first and the discos will make it easy also the skid will save you money. Often people go with what looks cool first but should go with function first its hard I know but it will be one of those "Man im glad I did that first" things

I'm in Laguna Beach on vacation tonight, back in WA state this weekend... Damn rain!!! Power tools and fenders next weekend!!!
If you chop the fenders, you won't need a body lift to fit 35's. The biggest chunk of money will be in tires and rims. Think of what kind of wheeling you will be doing to consider what kind of lift and tires to slap on your rig. GOOD LUCK and post pics as you go. We all enjoy a JK being mod'd up.

+1 after my first wheeling trip I learned that quick discos are ESSENTIAL! Also an evap skid will save money in the future

First do all the free stuff. Chop fenders, paint grill, drill mirror, chop bumpers, etc.

Next buy some used items. Wheels, tires, rails, lights, Rubi take offs. Reason for this is you never know what youll actually like and your direction may change a few times. So with buying used stuff first, youre not heavily invested. I bought used 35s for 200$ and i'm glad i did. Now i know i want 37s. (p.s these tires have lasted over a year so far.)

Then buy the cheaper items- Smaller kits (budget boosts-2.5in), Fenders if you want them,

By now you exactly what youre wanting and not wanting. So go buy some OXes on 60's and 44's!!!!!!

If you cut the fenders, use a jigsaw to cut them not a sawzall. You will have better control over your cuts. You use the sawzall on the inner fender support. With chopped fenders, you will be able to run 33's or even 35's without a lift as others have done here. Then build it up from there.
