This was it with gravity working.


I was lifting it up as far as i could.
Whoa! And I was ticked! I had the flange slide down the shaft allowing the "clunk" you guys heard but I at least had a FLANGE!

I had the same issue and fixed it with the hose clamps. I thought for sure it was something loose in the suspension. Now it's gone!

I have the same 4” Superlift. Approximately after one year of use I had a popping sound when I turn my steering wheel to the left and the right, too. I checked and found that the end of track bar was wasted, I replaced it for a new one and the problem was fixed.

what are the torque specs for track bar (tightening)

I have the exact same problem and I am at stock height! Called the dealership and told me to bring it in.

Steering boxes have been a common repair needed on several friends Rubicons I know. Hopefully you're under warranty cause nothing is cheap when your wallet needs to crack open at the dealership.

I did finally tighten up the track bar to 125 ft/lbs and that seemed to helped some with the noise..
