Default Popping noise when steering with brake on

Hey guys, ran into a really weird problem this week. If I steer while stepping on the brake, I get popping noise and the tie rod and tire shakes with every pop. But when I steer without stepping on the brake, there’s no noise at all. I Retorque the brakes and the wheels and it didn’t seem to help. Please any help would be much appreciated!

A bit odd. Have you checked the torque on your drag link and track bar? Does it pop when steering a certain direction or both? Does it pop if you sit still and turn the steering wheel?

Yes it makes the noise in both direction, it does pop when I sit still and steer, but seems to only pop when I have the brakes on.

I'd be looking at the track bar and the drag link.

With the Jeep in park and running, have someone cycle the steering lock to lock back and forth while you watch the joints for the track bar and drag link.

I will do that asap. What confuses me is that it doesn't make the noise when I am steering in part without brakes, but as soon as I step on the brakes the noise comes on.

Yes, I replaced the rotors and brake pads, and the noise went away.
