Default POR 15 Interior

I know there has been a million threads about bedlining the interior but I was wondering if anyone has used POR 15 to do it. Ive used it before on frames and its amazing stuff. I called POR 15 and they said once it was dry it does not let off any fumes but im not sure if thats true. Thats my main concern is that I'll smell it all the time. Let me know if anyone has used it inside. Thanks

Only heard of it used on frames but cant hurt to use it just air it out for the weekend. At work we use DTM paint inside all the time fumes usually clean out in a few days.

POR15 works best on metal that has rust - i'm pretty sure the instructions say as much too. if your interior is clean and free of rust, i wouldn't recommend doing this.

All the people I know that used it said it was such great stuff for the first year. All the people that has used it on there body, it has all lifted off. I think it because the POR dries to suck a hard coating and it does not flex at all, that it lifts off in time. As the bodys flex and move the POR does'nt, unlike a frame rail or suspension part. The one guy that repaired his floor and then POR it lifted out a copy of his pan in about a years time and the rust was worse. Bed linner at least stays flexable and is a harder surface then regular paint.

well i started spraying the inside with dupli color truck bedliner. Im just doing the front compartment not the back end. I took the front seat out and chipped the sound deadener out. That crap is like cement. i found it easiest to use a chisel just be careful.

I used POR 15 on my footwell areas. Three years later and it is still holding up fine. Good stuff.
