Default possible hydrolock?

on my break today at work i decided it would be fun to go in my friends pond which is about 3 feet at the deepest point.. check engine light came on on way back.. i stopped but nothing was wrong.. when i get back to wash off i notice my filter on my AEM Bruteforce is really wet.. when i get off work my jeep wont start. cranks just doesnt fire up.. whats wrong .. am i screwed? your advice would be greatly appreciated

If it was hydrolocked, it wouldn't be turning over. Probably something electrical shorted. If it were me, I'd pull all the plugs out and turn it over just in case there's water present and also check the inside of your intake for dampness and the sensor on the tube. Btw, what were you thinking driving through a 3ft pond with a CAI?

Check your oil to see if any water has mixed in. (it will look milky)
I would get that CEL code read to see what it is.
Let the filter dry out before trying to start again.

A traditional hydrolock would mean u sucked up enough water in the compression chamber for the motor to go "Boom"

This doesn't seem to be the case since you made it out of the water and back to work. You may have sucked up some water though.

I would get a compression test done to determine if there is any damage.

I agree you just got something electrical going on.....I also agree 3 ft with a CAI???
