Default Is it possible? LoD mid-width to stubby

I have a 1st gen LoD mid-width front bumper and I want to try make it a stubby, I also want to keep to fog lights. I'm bringing the bumper to a welding shop next week and I'd like some ideas from you guys. I like the look of the 2nd gen LoD stubby but I'm not sure if it can be done.

old pic, I ditched the pocket flares ( still for sale) for the flat fenders

It might be possible, but have you considered just selling the mid width? Then you can take that cash plus whatever you would end up paying the weld shop and just purchase whatever stubbie you want?

I doubt it can be integrated into the bumper. By the looks of it the mid portion of the bumper is the reason youre able to have fog lights. If you cut off the ends theres no more room on the bumper since you have the frame ends on either side and the winch in the middle. You could add to the depth of the bumper to add fog lights or you could fab up a skid plate to hold the fog lights. Either way itll take a lot of fab work to keep the fogs.
