hello, a guy at work has some brand new kc lights for sale. i want to buy them but they are chrome. is it possible to paint them black? what kind of paint should i use and has anyone painted their lights? any pics? thanks

I would just scuff them up a bit and then use some duplicolor.

I hope outside... otherwise you might want to try the crome duplicolor inside! lol.

Just tape off the lens, scuff them up a bit, spray on some primer, then give them 3 coats of spray paint.

^^ Expensive. Also you dont really have to worry about rock chips on the back of a light.

if you can get them for really cheap, take them apart and get them powder coated.

i painted some chrome KC lights before.. just sand them.. clean, prime them a few coats.. paint a few.. clear coat.. you will be good to go

Bedlined my lights that were rusting, and they turned out awesome!! They look like they were made with that finish. Would have pics but its dark out!
