Default Post lift install question

Finished up my 2.5" Rock Krawler Stock Mod Install this morning and when I took it for the first test drive the traction control light came on after getting up to about 20-25mph. It was acting like it was hesitating and the traction control kicking on. Took it to Auto Zone to get the codes read and the only one stored was the steering angle being off, and I know that is because the steering wheel is off. ANybody have any suggestions. I've taken all tires back off checking for wires that may be too tight or pinched or something out of place, I can't figure it out.

You have to recenter your steering wheel.

Easy fix. Take it to your local alignment shop. You should get an alignment anytime you replace suspension components.

An alignment will fix the traction control coming randomly coming on? I knew that would fix the steering wheel but didn't think that would affect the traction control. I'll go this afternoon, hopefully that helps.

My kit was also missing the quick disconnects so I am running the stock sway bars until the new one's come in. Will I need another alignment after I put the new ones in?

Yes an alignment will take care of the traction control. No you do not need to have it realigned after the sway bar links ate installed.

After making an appointment for an alignment on Monday I solved the problem my self. Found this thread and fixed everything:

I check my front axel and it was off by 1/8, I don't think there is need to fine tune more than that. I think re-centered my steering wheel and went for a test drive and everything was great. Thanks for all the input.

I have the same lift plus LCA's. Recenter the steering wheel and problem is solved. The write up done you justice. Did exactly what the write up said. Loosen the 2 bolts on the drag link and recentered the wheel. Glad you fixed it yourself.
