Powder coat problems?
i am unsure of the powdercoating from psc but there parts are quality. i am not real sure any powdercoating done in mass production that is great. they just don't take the prep time they should. i have lod bumpers which are great but the powdercoating is not as good as it could be. if you want a great job get it raw and have it done by a local shop. with that said it is just to late for you to do.
so my recomendation is if you have a sandblaster blast the hell out of it. or if not just use some aircraft stripper sold at your local auto parts store and strip it down (shouldn't take long if you can use your fingernail). then sand it with some heavy grit and wipe it with a wax and grease remover. take a can of bedliner and spray it with about 3 coats waiting 5 min before each coat.
it is only a evap skid that you will pobabbly beat up anyway. and you will almost never see it. the jeep will be rusted out before that thicker metal rusts through.
