Default powder coated rims?

Any one have any info on powder coated rims? I'm thinking of getting the rims on my jeep done. Any info on that would be appreciated

A lot of information on this, you just have to search the forum.

Powder Coating your stock rims should be Sandblasted to get off old coatings, then taken taken to get powder-coated.

Cost for powder-coating and sand blasting shouldn't cost more then $70.00 a wheel.

I'd say about $250.00 is a good price.

will get mixed opinions from everybody on this thread. Excessive coating on aluminum wheels weakens their integrity. A single color & one time coat is no problem. You do need to make sure that you get the rims sanded down before they are coated. I just recently got mine done and they look great. Paid $400 for it all because I went to a shop that dismounted my tires for me and also returned them to me the same day.

Hope this helps. It's just something you won't find a consistent answer with online. So just go out there and do it. But remember do not coat an aluminum wheel more than once.
