Default Powder Coating Rims

Alright guys and gals i am looking for a fairly inexpensive way to powder coat my rims. I am not comfortable with doing them myself and I found a guy near me who will do it for 60 a rim but that just seems high. I also have to find a way to get my tires off. If anyone in near in or near WV who may know some one who can do it cheaper that would be great.

Thanks alot!

JT

I dont know much about this, but I have read on here where powder coating estimates are anywhere from 50-90/wheel. I think 60 is reasonable.

I was ready to powder coat, local shop told me between $75 and $85 a wheel depending on color style and finish.
Then once I thought about it a bit more and came to the fact that I know mine will eventually get scratched up - new plan now is to bedline the wheels once I get tires mounted hopefully in a couple weeks. This way I can just touch up whenever I need to and it will always match!
Definitely a worthwhile option to think about, fair amount of threads on here about it.

I spoke with my local Line X dealer about doing the same to my MT Classic II wheels - he advised against it. Said that I would never get the wheels balanced again due to the thickness of their coats.
