Default Power interrupt on winch

Does anybody install a power interrupt on their winch? This is something that the guys at sPOD recommended. They said that you can install the interrupt switch to the sPOD to be able to switch the power on/off to the winch, but not to hook up the winch or the winch controls direct to the sPOD. I guess this add some protection against electrical related disasters?

I just use a large quick disconnect. I think I bought it from Warn.

Use. This and wire the big poles in line with the winch power. One small pole to ground and the other to accessory. This way the winch is powered up when the key is on and off when the key is off. Or you can wire it to a switch with one pole little pole to battery + and the other little pole through the switch to ground.

Sent from the fast lane while driving one handed.

I picked up a Warn disconnect to wire into the Spod but I can't find a open area in the engine bay to mount it. Where are you guys mounting your disconnects on the 11-13's?
