Wow some people have no sense of humor. It wasn't a serious post. But out of the 12 vehicles I have bought since 1991, only 4 have had power windows/locks. I had problems with 2 of them one new and one used car. Never had a single problem with hand cranked windows.

I completely understand the wanting of the power windows. I didn't see if you had a 2 or 4 door, but with me having 3 kids and a 4 door, power windows were a must. Throwing my back out trying to reach back and roll a window down while doing 70 down the 5 would be a PITA, so I got the power windows. Now I also understand when people talk about the "one less thing to go wrong" deal. It's warranted, it happens.

I have an '11 and on day 5 of a 6 day OBDR Route 3 trip I was doing with my son, we had gotten out to check out Edison Ice Caves. After exploring the ice caves and having lunch we hopped in to continue the trip and my windows would not work. I turned the Jeep off and on and still nothing. After a few choice words mumbled under my breath and realizing that it was going to be an air conditioned rest of the trip I took off down the trail back to hardtop. Once I got a mile down the road the windows all automatically rolled down on there own. I rolled them back up and back down and to this day have not had a single issue since. I tallied it up to the 5 days of straight dirt and dust backroads and a minor glich in the matrix.
