Default Powertuner recommendation

So I just bought a new 2.5" lift and 33's to put on the 09' Jeep. I am wanting to get a tuner to fix the calibration of the speedometer for the oversized tires, and I want one to tune the engine to improve performance and boost throttle response. Any recommendations? What type do I need? There are so many types out there, and I am fairly new to the whole concept, so I was hoping to get some advice. Thanks guys

superchips flashpaq.

there is a thread on page two with 600+ responses. i say grab a 12 pack and sit back for a nice read.

as an owner, i honestly believe that the superchips is a good tuner for the needs you've described, but i think you will get some good advice and perspective from a variety of people on that thread to help you make your decision. it's a long read, but i think it will be worth it.

AEV Procal
Hypertech Max Energy
Superchips Flashpaq

those are the 3 you will read most about on this forum. The overwhelming concenses is that the superchips is the best out of all three. I dont have first hand experiance so I cant say either way, but I though I would give you options to do a bit of searching on.

Superchips Flashpaq, Nuff Said. You'll read about 500+ posts here about what an excellent product this is. Give Dave at North Ridge a call. He'll 2 day air you one for a price you can't beat elsewhere on the net.

From what I've gathered, the Procal does nothing for performance. It just lets you set the speedo for over sized tires, and set the TPS. Calibrating the speedo tho does help an auto tranny get back to normal.

....If you were to choose a tuner, I'd say get the Superchips...I ran both the hypertech & the Superchips and I would have to say that the Superchips gives a better performance based on my butt dyno...There are some vendors here that are offering the superchips at great prices...Picked mine up for $300 shipped
