Just a little bump for these mirror brackets. I ordered them the 1st and they arrived today. The weather here is terrible, so won't be going doorless until it's going to be dry for a few days in a row, but wanted to say that these are really nice looking in person. The powdercoat on them is flawless and they really look like they'll do a great job with the doors off.

If nobody else has done it, when the weather's nice here I'll update with some pics.

I love the idea but I'd need a 2nd set of mirrors to leave perm mounted to the doors. I add remove the doors several times a week and it would be a pain swapping the mirrors back to the doors. I may research the price for a 2nd set of mirrors just to do this...

Thanks for the bump and kind words. I'm glad you're satisfied with the quality.

I wouldn't want to monkey around with removing the mirrors from the doors and repositioning onto these (or any) brackets everytime I took the doors off and buying a second set of mirrors is going to make this a very expensive option. They look nice though.

Lot's of other options out there that make way more sense... keep looking IMO.
I use the RR on the drivers side which is excellent and a homemade hinge mount/cheap AutoZone mirror for the passenger side since the RR passenger side is completely obstructed for my fiancee when she's driving with the drivers seat pulled up.

I see this point allot. Obviously, it's going to be personal preference, but after doing it a few times it doesn't feel inconvenient at all to me.

In fact, storing the doors without the mirrors on them is considerably easier. My garage is not big and I would be banging into the walls constantly when putting them in and taking them out of storage.

I would encourage anyone that really wants the brackets to try it out a few times before spending the money on a new set of mirrors. It's only two bolts per side that come out and go in very easily.

Yup, I have my doors on one day and off the next. On in the morning and off in the afternoon. off the next morning and on in the afternoon. I'd be in if I only had to remove the door hinge bolt AND I could get a 2nd set of mirrors for a good deal.

I like them. I don't know that I like them $70 worth. But I do like them.

I haven't yet removed my doors, but aren't the mirrors only held on by two bolts?

yes and I cannot believe how many people on here, not just this thread, complain and bitch about removing 1-4 bolts, whats it take 5min tops?

I like these brackets makes the mirror much more visible and easy to adjust I think

Considering how much tinkering we all do on our Jeeps, 3 extra bolts per side didn't seem bad to me. And I can't imagine it's going to add that much time to the door removal process. I don't know about everyone else, but I have a cordless drill and cordless impact wrench that should get the process down to just a minute or two more with practice.

And the way these brackets are made and sit, they should essentially put the mirrors back into the factory spot, so it should be just as easy to adjust them. Easier actually since you don't have to roll down a window or lean over the door, since it won't be in place. Everyone's got their opinion though, but me I'd rather spend a couple extra minutes and have a mirror that I can actually use.
