price check on lift
just for kicks, i stopped up this morning to the local 4x4 shop. i know of them and the owner. rough country 1.75" BB with NITRO shocks. alignment and headlight tweak. $430 otd installed. seem fair enough?
I agree with Marcus, just go ahead and get the 2.5" coil kit...not much more money, and takes about 1-2 hrs to install. There are plenty of write-ups on this forum with pictures to help you do the install yourself...and believe me, if you do decide to do it yourself you will be SO SO glad you didn't pay those people $430!!
Either kit you go with, you won't need to pay someone for an alignment...the most they're gonna do is re-center your steering wheel and you can do that in less than 5 minutes...so easy...headlights too.

I would personally stay away from nitro shocks. Just my 2c. I had them in mine and it rode like a brick. I went with the 3" Zone Offroad for just under $400 and it clears 35's and rides great. Whatever lift you decide to get, if your in the neighborhood of western Mass, give me a shout and I'll put it in with you for free. We can even due your alignment, set the headlights and take it out and test it too.
Here is the DIY Alignment write-up.

As the others have said, save your money on the alignment. Re-centering the steering wheel takes all of 5 minutes. Setting the Toe only a bit longer, since you have to measure it. No adj trackbars, so you won't be re-centering the axles. No adj control arms, so you won't be adjusting the caster. Piece of cake.
For the headlights, it's one screw on each side. No taking the grill off or anything, just stick the bit in the slot and turn.
The lift is cake also, whether you go with the BB spacers or opt for new coils. Assuming this will be your first lift install, bet on it taking longer than the 1-2 hours the others are quoting, though.

Anyway, consider doing it all yourself. Invite a few buddies over for pizza and beer and have at it...
