Ya the install is exactly $435. I have never done any kind of mods and am not even remotely familiar with how to install it.

I guess that's the price I pay for not knowing how to do it...

Thats a lot for labor...if you have a weekend, a few fairly simple tools, and are willing to work alittle, you can save all that money on labor. I just installed a Teraflex 2.5'' kit a couple weeks ago and it was pretty easy, although I do work on cars often. Also, David at northridge will always get you a great price and free shipping, and he got mine to me really quick. Ordered friday night and got here by wednesday, and its a 37 hour trip with no stops at least, and shipping was free. Just something to think about.

edit...just saw your post. If you have a buddy or two with some experience, you could get it done in a day or two no problem. And its a great way to learn more about your Jeep, especially if you ever break anything on the trail.

I do have a friend who knows alot about lifts and stuff. I'll give him a shout to see if he could help me out. Saying 450$ would be nice...

Also how easily are lifts capable of being done incorrectly??
I don't wanna mess anything up trying save a few bucks..

Buy whatever tools you don't have, floorjack/stands, etc. Spring for pizza and beer.

And then buy a set of adjustable front control arms with what's left over from the install charge!!

There are plenty of write-ups here with step-by-steps and pictures to get you going...
