I've followed the directions to the T. Nothing happens when I plug my AEV procal in. I'm trying to recall rate my speedo. Help

List out all of the steps you are taking, including the position of the key in the ignition.

Are you sure that you're turning the Jeep all the way to the ON position and not just ACC? I make sure to turn it on and then wait for all the dash lights and gauges to go through their cycles, plug it in, and if it works, it honks twice.

I made the mistake of not turning the key all the way to the ON position the first couple times I tried to use mine.

Check your fuses to ensure that there's power going to your obd-ii port, it's a quick and dirty way to disable the obd-ii port.
