Default Pro Comp 7069 - Needs Hub Centric Rings? Help

Help

I am having my having new pro comp 7069 rims and 35x12.5 tires installed on my JK

I purposly went with these Pro Comps because they are for a JK, 5x5 lug backspacing etc..

The guy at the tire shop informed me he could not install the Rims because they are hub centric and I need rings for these wheels to fit my JK.

I called Pro Comp and they said the tire guy was on crack and that these wheels where made for the JK, I called 4 wheel drive [ where I bought them] and they said I dont need the rings. This is my 5th Jeep build and I have never been told i need these hub rings

what am I missing ? Please shed some light on this if you can.. thanks

ProComp & 4WD are right you don't need those rings. I ran the 8069s which are lug centric. No questions with installation at my local tire shop. Take it to another place...

I ran those wheels with no problems. Just make sure that when it's installed the lug nuts are perfectly centered as you tighten them to the rim...

Tire place is crazy, I have 7069s. You don't need a thing.

Noob alert. Tell that tire "tech" to suck it and head to another shop.

I'm about to buy these wheels for my JKU. I want to be 100% sure that these will have zero problems.

The rims are sweet. No extras needed. Just tires. Enjoy!

Hi, also in Dallas. I've been running 7069s and BFG 35s on mine since Thanksgiving without problem. I've been very happy with them so far!
