Default Pro Comp 8069's

I found a local guy selling four Pro Comp 8069's in my area for 400. The wheels look in good shape. They are 17" x 9".

Is this a tough size to find a tire for? I had planned on getting 16" x 8" which seems more common. Also, any thoughts on the deal? Think $200 off is decent?

Not really a bad deal at all. Don't they run for around $150 each? Tons of guys run Pro Comps. . . Just verify that you are getting the correct backspacing.

See the Sticky for Newbs in the modified JK section!

The backspacing on that rim is 4.75. The general opinion is you want 4.5 or less backspacing. I know of several people that have run that backspacing with no rubbing.

you might want to price the tires you like. IIRC 16's tend to be less $ than 17's.

I love mine!

They are 16 x 8 with 4" bs. They are the perfect width/bs for me. If the 17x9s are 4.75 bs, you might have some issues, not 100% sure, but that is a great price

What backspacing do you have on those 15s & do you have any rubbing issues? I have the same rims, but in a 16x8...Looking to buy another set in 15s if there are no issues...Thanks...
