Default Pro Comp backspacing question

I'm currently running a set of Pro Comp 5001's 17X9's and am looking to get a set of Pro Comp 7069's 17X9's but on Quadratec's site they have different backspacing options - 4" & 4.75". I bought this JKU with the 5001's so I don't have any idea about the backspacing. From what I can tell, 4 Wheel Parts only shows the 5001's with 4.75" backspacing. So it seems I would be able to fit the 7069's with 4.75" backspacing and be good to go?

Depends on tire size. Either should work, but 4.0 would stick the tires out a bit more and might be the better option for future tire size upgrades.

There are some guidelines in both of the threads stuck to the top of this modified area.

If is not a lot of trouble you can take the wheel off the jeep and on the back side of the rim it will have it printed on the wheel. You might be able to look from the back side under the jeep and see it too.

Or you could simply measure it.

Tire size is 285/70. So the lower the number, the further it pushes the wheel out... Tires are out past the stock fenders now.

I could actually pull the wheel, but I'll see if I can get under there today if it dries up.

The Dirtman - I'm guessing that I would measure the distance from the inside edge of the rim to the hub mounting surface?

That would be correct. Back of rim to mounting surface.

Another dumb question. This is a 5 on 5 bolt pattern?

I saw other options for wheels (ie, 6 X 6.5" which I'm assuming is a 6 lug and 6.5" across). Just want to be sure to get the specs right when I sell.

The JK bolt pattern is 5x5. Tj was 5x4.5 and you will find 5x5.5 in a 5 lug wheel.
