Default Pro Comp/Hypertech speedo/gear calibrator question

I have a lifted 2014 JKU with 315/70r17 tires, 3.73 gears (auto tranny), and have a question. I have successfully changed the tire size for the speedo. Can i change the gear size to 3.73 through the calibrator instead of using the "stock" setting? And will it work ok? Anyone know?

As it is, there is some early shifting and i am hoping this will help.

The calibrator I have will do it, I just want to know if it will work better that way or leaving the stock setting.

Also, I have read that the actual mounted height is what should be used in these calibrators. If so, are the Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 315/70r17 tires I have not actually 35s? I have read that they are about 33.5 inches high mounted. Can anyone verify this?

Anyone know how much it is to upgrade the calibrator to the max energy specs? Hypertech says it can be done.
