if you're referring to the xtreme mt's, i've run a set twice now and they provide great traction on the rocks and are quite on pavement. sidewalls are a bit thin and they wear out fast.

Yea I meant extreme mt's. I just bought my jeep with a brand new set of them on there. Just curious as to how soon I'll be replacing those bad boys on my daily driver

if you play on the rocks, they will chunk pretty bad and you'll go through them fast. if you spend most of your time on pavement, i would think you could get about 30,000 miles or so out of them.

The new Xtreme MT's seem to be getting good reviews. In fact, the original MT's always got good reviews.

I have them on our jeep and they are a good tire. They did wear out rather quick. We bought the jeep with 11,000 miles on it and it now has 20,000, i dont know when they was put on by the previous owner. I would buy them again.

Got over 30k on mine before I gave them onto a Jeeper who was in need. When they left me they had about 25% tread left, good for another season that was about it.

As far as my opinion... In Sand they were fine, but they CHUNKED BADLY on the rocks of SoCal, handled the wet mud of the PNW no problem, but in a foot of snow on the mountain trails they were useless. Quiet on the road, and took a lot of weight to balance, especially after chunking on the rocks.

Would I buy another set? No, not unless I can get them for an outstanding price.

I ran 35" XMT's on my last JK. I did not put over 15K on them though. They did chunk out from Moab wheel'n. I have about 13K on this set on my current rig and they are showing wear pretty bad. Even rotating them @ 5K. My next JK build will have KM2's for Summer time/ BFG AT's for winter.

Good info people, I was thinking about getting a set of these and was wondering how they were. Unfortunately, my Jeep doesn't see any rocks so I may be ok I guess.
