Default Pro Comp Mud Terrain 3 Ply?????

Anyone run these tires or have any experience with them. Looking for pics on the Jeep if anyone has them. I have only heard good things about these tires and am looking into purchasing them. Just looking for some feedback.

I am running 315/70-17 Pro-Comp Extreme MT's on a 3 1/4" lift. (2.5 Skyjacker and 3/4" Daystar spacers. This is my second set in 7 months. First set has 15k miles and still look great, took them off and put them on some steel wheels for playing.

I ran the MT's on my fullsize trucks for years for both mud and snow plowing. Never had any complaints. Actually had very good wet road traction. I think because of the siping. Not too many other mt's were doing that. Tread life wasn't horrible either.

They did pretty well in Moab...but then again what tire doesn't (The "slick rock" is like sandpaper)? Upon checking my tires after getting home though, I've noticed a sizable chuck had been taken out of it. I think this is normal, however, when wheeling in rocky areas.

I read an article about tire choices a while back in a popular Jeep magazine, and the Xtreme M/T's were rated good all around; not excellent/ not poor in any one area.

Thanks for the info guys. I was starting to think no one ran these tires. I was worried. I know Pro Comp has a history of making pretty solid off road tires. I'm actually surprised there aren't more people running them here.

I see everyone runs the Xtreme MT instead of the new MT 3 ply. Besides the basic look, is there any other reasons?

The Extreme MT and the Mud Terrain 3 ply are 2 different tires.

The ones pictured above are the extreme MT's. The Mud Terrain 3 ply (different tire) only comes in 2 sizes, 37x12.5x17 and 35x12.5x18. I run the 37's on my '05 Dodge 3500 Cummins and LOVE them. The truck weighs 8200lbs. and I have just over 15k on the tires with very even, minimal wear.
