Default Pro Comp Radial Mud Terrains

Anyone running these? I'm looking at buying them in 35 12.50 17's from 4wd for buy 3 get 1 free and I was hoping someone could shed some light on them. How long are they lasting? Balance out well? Wearing evenly?

Thanks in advance

Jon

Had these on my XJ. Not a bad tire, only has a 2 ply sidewall I believe so that could be a problem in the rocks. They wore even and had no problems balancing. I believe I got around 35-40k miles out of them with easy to moderate 4 wheeling. Quite on road compared to other MT tires.

I was looking at those today online but didn't see that model in that size. Do you have them in a local store there?

Have them on my '12 Rubicon. Had them on my '07. No complaints here. They've done just fine for me being a once a month off roader. I've taken some chunks out of them on the rocks in Clayton, OK, still good here. I have about 4000 miles so far.

They are made by Cooper tire. I got them for my 2012 JK. I like them. Aggressive looking, relatively quiet as a MT. Qieter than the Toyo Open Countrys I used to run on my TJ.

Only thing I saw that was off was they are not real easy to balance. A couple of my tires have a lot of weight on them. However, Im not having any issues with them. I would recommend them. I got mine from 4WD Parts. THey had the buy 3 get the 4th for free plus they had 12 months free financing. Thats what enabled me to move forward with my lift plan.

Good luck with your build.

Easy way to get rid of that weight problem. Break the beads of the tire and rotate it 1/2 or 1/4 turn re-mount it and re-balance them. Any good tire shop knows how to do that. All you have to say is, rotate the tire and re-balance it because you don't like all the weights up there.

thanks for the tip. 4wd parts mounted and balanced them. Ill swing by Just Tires or one of those guys. Its time to rotate them anyways.
