And lastly am I better off selling what I have and changing wheels to something that is offset? I know lots of questions but I'm on a budget...

Its all in what makes you comfortable. I have a 2008 4 dr unlimited and bought the 2.5" Rough Country lift and run 35's on stock rims with 1.5inch wheel spacers. The only time that I rub is when offroad and flexing, otherwise when on road, I can turn the wheel all the way and no rubbing. The R.C. lift also comes with new shocks and coils so you can ditch the stock. You could do a 2.5" body lift to keep stock suspension, but for how little extra it is to go with the 2.5" suspension lift, it is way worth the price.

As far as the gearing, mine is an auto and the only time I notice is when I am on the interstate and running in 4th gear (I drive 15 miles each way on interstate every day to and from work). If you keep the O/D on, it likes to shift a lot when at about 70-75 mph, but my quick solution is to turn the O/D off and it runs great, and can hold 75mph at about 2,800 rpm.

I originally thought about getting 33's, but after having 35's can't even think about anything smaller. Unless you do a ton of interstate driving, go with the 35's, you will be glad you did. As far as wheels go, I like the look of stock wheels, and could not justify spending another $1,000 on new rims when these are perfectly good.

i ordered the procomp 2.5 but with the mx6 shocks. i will let you know how it is approximately 8 hours after it hits my doorstep.

Thanks for that info. I too like the look of the stock wheels and don't want to change. Yeah I wouldn't do a body lift, don't care for them at all... Reason I was asking about the shocks is I'm looking to shave a couple bucks...
I've thought about chipping it but don't want to mess with my warranty... Am looking at the one for the accelerator (forgot the name).

So just how much did it affect your mph??? One of the other reasons I'm thinking about just going with the 33's.
