I have the 16x10 aluminum wheels and the past 2 winters the salt has pitted them up real bad. I guess that's what I get for wanting to play in the snow.

I've had the Procomp 7089 black cast/matte black wheels for nearly three years. Extremely pleased with the wheels, but the center caps are terrible. Very lightweight plastic, and the clear cap over the emblem has mottled from typical, outside weather exposure. It's nwt a soft, mushy mess. The rims themselves are very easy to clean--dirt/mud come off very easily. They are scratched up pretty bad, but that's my fault for running them into rocks. Considering the abuse I've put them through, I'm extremely pleased with the performance and durability.

again this can be attributed to installation error, even so called "pro" shops make errors
even "pro" shops dont read install instructions and forget about things like bushing preload

btw way, if u have zerk fittings, have u greased them?
have you called pro comp and the "pro" shop to address this issue?????????
just becasue u went off road twice and the lift is still new, that doesnt not mean that u did not bend something and are now putting the bushings and bearings in a biind.
on the flip side u really could have just crappy bushings, but im sticking wth installation error

i dont care what company installed it, everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and like someone else mentiond, many many problems can be linked back to oporator error or install error

also here is some food for thought, some products just squeek

next time instead of blasting a company, why dont u state your problem and ask for some help, people might be more inclined to answer u and help

We put Procomp MTs on my daughter's TJ because the price was right. Suffice to say that I won't be buying any tires from them in the future. The wear rate is ridiculous, they don't balance worth a crap and they don't work particularly well in most conditions. The Maxxis Bighorns that are on my rig are far more capable for a lot less money. When the Procomps are gone (soon), she'll be getting a set of Bighorns.

I am running a 2.5 in lift by Procomp installed by a shop and 33" Procomp extreme A/T tires and I am very pleased with both. Do mostly daily driving, but head out to the desert when time permits. Has handled the soft sand, and rocks very well, and I don't get beat up on the daily drive. So overall, I have to give them a good recommendation.

I have been running a 4" Stage II lift from Pro Comp for over a year, in which I had bought used from another forum member and just now 1 of my lower control arm bushings in the back has some slop in it, so I am going to say you have installation error, when you setup the bushings in the CA's you have to setup with a preload on them. I am not sure what this means but I have been doing some research as I have to change my bushings out on one of my arms.

I have also ran Xterrains on both my pickup and my Jeep and have used them on all diffrent surfaces and I would not hesitate to buy another set. Those tire were tough cleared out well and drug my jeep and my old truck everywhere I pointed it.

I too have the 35X12.50X17 Xtreme At and Pro Comp wheels, I love them and have had no problems with them at all. In fact they are wearing better than the Toyo's on my truck for a whole lot less money.

Default ProCrap

MX6 shocks - all the boots ripped off, exterior shell rusting, bushings slide out, leaking and they won't replace under warranty.

"4 inch" lift - springs are like rocks, plus only a 3.5 inch lift, took the kit off and gave it away because i couldn't live with myself selling the crap to someone else.
