Default Pro comp steering stabalizer blown... Again...

Hey all, so I have a dual steering stabilizer and the shocks keep letting go and leaking oil. This is my second set and it's getting costly. I have a 2.5 lift and 33" tires. I don't understand what the issue is. I rarely go wheeling and when I do, it's mild. I came out this morning and the shock is leaking all over. I haven't even been out on the trail in 3 months!!! Am I doing something wrong? I'm ready to throw it in the trash and run the stock one. Anybody with a dual stabilizer please chime in. All input will be helpful. Thanks everyone!

I don't even run a stabilizer with my 37 mud grapplers. Couldn't even tell I took it off.
The stock one is actually better than most the aftermarket ones IMO.

How far away is the mount on the tierod from the mount on the axle? If it's too far, you might be pulling the shaft of the stabilizer too much causing it to leak.

I also have the stock one, and i am running 37's with a 4 inch lift.

I have never had a problem with mine either.

That was my first thought also. Either over-extending or over-compressing them. Maybe think about getting rid of the dual setup and run a single stab relocated up top.

Doesn't pro Comp have a warranty?

Install tip:

When you get new stabilzer(s) leave the u-bolt bracket loose and have someone turn the wheels all the way to the left and right.
Extend and compress the stabilzer by hand at full turn each way.
This gives you a visual of the travel range the stabilzer needs to stay inside of.
Pick your spot, clamp it down and turn wheels to full lock again to make sure it's not hitting the end of the stabilizer travel in either direction.

Thanks everyone. Well... My transfer case let go yesterday evening so the dual stabilizer is on hold for a little bit. I think that little plastic retainer clip in the linkage broke but I haven't gotten in to look at it yet. We'll see... But thanks again everyone. I'm still up for more advice and experiences.
