Pro-Comp Xtreme A/T - Excessive Hydroplaning?
An update on my hydroplaning issue.
Turned out my stock steering stabilizer was blown and I replaced it this past weekend with a set of RC dual SS's and lo and behold, the hydroplaning is pretty much gone.
It's been raining for 3 days straight here and this morning theres lots of standing water everywhere. Yes, I still hydroplane, but nowhere near as bad as before. It's easily controllable (release accelerator, no brakes) and tracks straight, whereas pre-SS, it'd pull violently to one side.

just my 2 cents....
I live in the north east... and I have seen tons of rain all summer and fall so far...
My mud graps are not that great when I hit standing water...
Granted they are pretty damn good other wise in the rain, but I def get hard pulls when I am cruising in the rain and hit some flat pools...
I would say the reason I get this is because I am confidant in the wheels on just wet road, and I am going faster then I likely should be when I do come to the flat pools so its a bit more exaggerated that way....
Any tire is guna have issues if your coasting on standing water, but if they really are breaking loose alot then you def might want to change out to a new meat...
