Default Problem installing ACE sliders

Went to remove bolts from frame on my '10 JKU but they come almost all the way out but then just spin. Any idea what the issue is? I only tried the first two then stopped so I wouldn't make a possible problem worse. Thanks

Had the same problem with one side. Grab them with plyers and give em a good pull. They will come out.

I thought of doing that but didn't want to jack them up. Thanks for the help and fast reply!

Some people use downward force with a screwdriver or vice grips.

Or, have you seen pics of the goofy little retaining washers put on the wheel studs at the factory? Look at the top of the body bolts you are trying to remove and see if you see any.

I had the same problem. As the previous poster said, just use done downward tension on the bolt as you unscrew it.

even better: downward force while using an impact wrench.. I used a screwdriver to apply the force with one hand, and the impact wrench in the other..

I had a pickle fork lying around and it did the trick. It is just a retainer that holds it up so don't worry about ruining the bolt by prying on it a bit.
