Default problem with steering stabilizer

I was having a little problem with my new jeep having a little bump steer. I put on a bilstein steering stabilizer with notable difference, however now I get a pull to the left. Any solutions?

There are many complaints about that Bilstein causing pull to left. This is due to gas charged like a shock...it wants to fully extend because under pressure.

Honestly the factory steering stabilizer with a relocate kit is as good as anything.

I bought the Jeep about a month ago; it has a Rough Country 4 inch basic lift. I believe it has the stock steering arm and stock control arms. It also has BFG KM2 35x12.5x17 inch wheels and tires. Can the bilstein be adjusted, or is there another stabilizer that can help, since the stock stabilizer did not help the bump steer?. I was also thinking I might add a adjustable steering arm? Thanks for your imput. As you can see I’m a newbie

Yeah unfortunately, the Bilsteins are known to pull to one side. Unless you run dual bilsteins, this set works awesome for me!Click image for larger version

Adjustable upper control arms will fix your problem.

Why would this fix pulling to the left?

Pulling can be many things (toe, camber, caster, bolt torque, alignment, ball joints, etc)... If you want to fix it you really need to climb under and check everything. DW and bump steer has been known to be caused by 14mm bolts used by factory in the control arms. Planman has written some great post regarding changing all these bolts to 9/16 full shoulder (which I have done long ago)... This will tighten your suspension dramatically and solve many issues. Also verify your track bar and drag link are parallel to each other which also causes much bump steer.

Just my couple cents

Does the dual setup work with a flip drag link?

It will not fix the pulling to the left, that will only be fixed if you get rid of the Bilstein stabilizer, or go with the double unit shown above.

What the upper control arms will do is reduce your bump steer greatly, which is why the OP upgraded the stabilizer in the first place.
