Partial disable is the only way you can do it in 2WD. In 4wd you can "completely" disable it. I think it would be better off to just air the tires down really good.

Well I think it would take a pretty well trained eye to tell a 33.5 inch spare from 34.8 inch tires on the vehicle. Same wheels, same type of tire, etc. I jus wondered if it would work because I have room for 35s but don't want to destroy my tailgate, and I cant get a new bumper with tire carrier or whatever. I have Toyo M/Ts which are really heavy compared to other M/Ts.
