problems with front and rear tru-trac installation
Looking for some information. Hopefully someone can help.
I had a local shop install detroit tru-tracs front and rear in my 2012 jku sport.
When I got home I jacked up my vehicle and this is what I found. In neutral spinning one rear tire the other did not move. Spinning one front tire and the other moved along with it.
What's going on here. The front is doing what it is supposed to and the rear sucks.
I see in the paper work they used synthetic and also put in friction modifyer. Detroit says to use Dino oil.
Any ideas?

A Truetrac does not act like a typical LSD or Posi. When you lift you tire and spin it (by hand) the other tire will go the opposite direction. If the front doesn't do this it's probably not broken it yet.
