Default problems running 15in wheels?

I am thinking about running a 15 inch wheel on my 2007 sahara, any one run into clearance problems with the brake rotors or anything else for that matter , please give your ideas about this, thinking of running the 35/13.50/15 toyos and a few members here say they work, and I believe they do ,just whant some other opinions before I bite the bullet, or see if anyone else had any additional problems , I know the wheel needs 4 in of bb to clear 13.50s

Steel wheels have less clearance issues than aluminum. Thinner where it goes over the caliper.

Honestly I wouldn't go smaller than a 16" myself, if for no other reason but to make sure and allow for airflow to the caliper/rotor. But that's my opinion, and not based on any particular findings.

he's right some fit some don't the only crappy thing, it's difficult to find wheels and tires for 16" so you are forced to look at 17" which is at least $30 more per rim complete b/s. oh and this 5on5 bolt pattern isn't very common. hth

This is only partially true now. Sizes have moved up and so many manufacturers are using 17's, 18's, or 20's that they are more the norm now. I only paid about $140 a wheel for my 18's and they have gone down about $15 since then. Also, the 18" Nittos were a few dollars cheaper than the equivalent 17's also. You can get bigger sized wheels/tires much cheaper than a few years ago. 5 on 5 wasn't very common before because not too many 70's Chevy truck owners wanted 17's and up, but not that the JK's have that pattern, you can bet wheel makers are getting off of the rears and building wheels. It just like everything else for the JK, taking forever to reach the market.
