Will the procal programmer shut the tpms light off if I get new tires and wheels with no sensors in them?

Kaptain,

Yes, it will disable the TPMS system in the Jeep. Depending on what year your Jeep is, you may want to look into the new Flash-Cal Programmer. It's made for 2011-current wranglers, and will do all of the following things:

  • Corrects speedometer for tire upgrades between 22.5” - 44.25”
  • Speedometer recalibration for gear /axle swaps up to 5.38
  • Transfer case Hi and Lo locking options
  • ESP stability optimization
  • Engine idle adjustability for winching
  • Street legal TPMS adjustability (Off-Road options available for download)
  • Daytime running light options (2011-12 models only)
  • One touch lane change
  • Radio delay options
  • Headlamp delay options
  • Horn chirp and exterior lighting flash options when locking doors with keyless entry
  • Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes

Shoot me a PM and I can hook you up with our exclusive discount code and also answer any questions you have!

The Flashcal will not have anything to do with hi & lo locking of the axles. The only thing it adjusts regards the xfer case is the gear ration for hi & lo. My self and several others have the Flashcal and there are issues with 2013 JKs with 6 speeds. You can adjust a lot of the things you adjust with the EVIC, but can't adjust tire size or gear ratio. They say they're working on it. Been two weeks and no resolution so far.
They also admitted they're verbiage regards lockers was wrong.

PRS,

Is that just for the 2013 manual transmission models? I have heard from several people who have it and they really like it. Both people I have talked to say it works just fine, and one has a 2013. I'm not sure if his is an auto or a manual though.

I just used the new 2013 procal on my 2013 Rubicon after wheel/tire upgrade. It will turn off the low tire warning light, but the on-dash computer will default to the TPMS screen reading 0 for each tire. you will have to manually hit the compass button on the steering wheel to return to the compass/temp screen. So it kinda of half works the way I was told it would. Or, maybe im doing something wrong.

The Procal will only work on one Jeep at a time. The only way you can reuse it is if you restore the previous Jeep to stock settings, effectively zeroing it out, and then use it on the second one. Great if you are upgrading to a new Jeep, bad if you are trying split the cost with a buddy.
