Default Procal issue?

I have a 2013 jku sport, lifted 3" on 35s. I ordered the procal just to fix the speedometer. I measured the front driver tire at 33.75". Plugged that into the procal and followed the instructions. Two horn honks. As far as i know, everything is good to go now. From what I read, people that have done this have noticed differences in their shift points from just changing tire sizes. I can't tell a difference at all. Am I missing something?

I believe the shift points people refer to are after the bigger wheels are on. The transmission is still shifting for stock size wheels. So when you change the height in the computer with the procal the shifts should feel how it was while stock.

At least that's how it was for me.

Stupid question but do you have a manual....? The shift points change only in autos. The manual driver changes his/her own shift points.

Mine is an auto and I have basically a 34.75" diameter tire that I ran for over a year before recently ProCal'ing (verb) my jeep.

I noticed a night and day difference in driving/shifting characteristics... I now have a problem speeding. LOL. My performance in the 40mph to 80mph range was greatly improved because of the new (proper) shift points.

I have an auto. Most threads I have read said they notice a night and day difference. Not with mine.

So are you saying that you have been driving for a length of time with your 35's and WITHOUT your Procal then got one did the steps and STILL don't feel a difference?

Exactly! Double horn honks means everything worked correct?
