Default ProCal Not Really Working

I bought the ProCal this summer shortly after buying my Jeep because I moved fromt the States to Canada and needed to put on daytime running lights. So I programmed in the regulare daytime running lights and was later informed by a buddy driving in front of me that when I indicated the corresponding headlight would go out, then come back on when the indicator went off. So I played around with it a bit and finally got the 'Euro' setting to work properly, so now my lights are fully on at all times.

Then I put on my new tires, 33's, measured them up, programmed it in, it honked to acknowledge the change, and then as I drove away the speedo stayed at exactly 0 mph. So I reset everything, redid the daytime lights and the speedo and the same stuff happened again. I figured I wasn't off by much though so I just left it.

Finally, tonight I came across a couple stuck halfway through the ice in their Razor, so I went and got the Jeep, with the new winch, and plugged in the ProCal to bump up the engine revs, which had worked in the past, but had never been of much use since I only just got the winch a few weeks ago. Alas, it didn't do anything!

So just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone else had similare issues or a fix. Wonder if I need to send it back.

You should call AEV. I've spoken with them before. They are extremely helpful and customer oriented.

You may be doing this, but it is not clear from your description.

I had few false starts when I first got my Procal, but this process has worked flawlessly since then and I use it quite often.

Reset everything to stock just for good measure
Program one and only feature at a time (double check the flip switches)
After each feature turn off the ignition and then turn back to on (no engine running)
Program the next feature

When in doubt start from the beginning. It is really fast and easy to do with the Procal, that is why I still have the Procal even after I got my Flashpaq.

If this fails, then as Redneck advised call AEV.

Yeah, I know it's hard for us guys to ask for directions or help, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet

X2, I have had mine for almost a year and have used most of the features and have had no issues, I have used the "rpm boost" for winching on several occassions
