I just got a Procal and it work great right up to the point that I try to calibrate for the 35 inch tires. At that point it flashes the sway bar light and speedometer does not work. I unhooked the ground and reattached it and tried the sequence again with the same results. I am in need of a little feed back or if you know of an old thread that that you can find that works for me too. I have not been able find anything on this issue I am having so far. I’m not ruling out the guy flipping the switches as one possibility either.

 

What other function did you mess with? Anything else besides what you listed? Have you tried the restore function and starting again? If it was me, I would call AEV and see what they say, but if you were opposed to that then do the restore and try again. Have you looked at the pins to make sure that none are bent or touching, etc.?

I just dealt with AEV and they were real helpful. I used their email, but your issue is more severe so if it was me I would use the phone.

 

Make sure after doing a function you turn the key off, remove the key and THEN remove the procal. Several people have run into this prob if they just pull the procal without turning the key off first. I remove the key aswell.

Sort of laborious but if you follow Mark's instructions it should work. At this point I'd recommend doing a full reset and remove the neg batt cable for 5 minutes and start over again.

Thanks for the help. I was removing the Procal before the key. I will try it again tonight and let you know if it works for me. I’m sure that is wait it says to do in the instruction that I didn’t read very well with out my glasses.

 

Well everything works perfectly know that I am not taking the Procal out as soon as it beeps twice. Thanks for the assistance, I know if I have a problem I can always rely on this forums members.
