Default Procal tuner question

I just put 33" tires on my stock X, 3:73 gears, auto....As of right now I am not planning on re gearing for the bigger tires. It drives okay but seems to downshift a bit at highway speeds. I know bigger tires will be sluggish but would the AEV Procal tuner speedometer adjust help return it back to the stock shift points? My local stealership can adjust for 32" Rubis but itll cost me 90 bucks....rather get the tuner. I do not need all of the options of the Superchips one...just the speedo fix.....if it will help.

From my understanding it will correct the speedo and should help with shift points. I have one and it has worked great for me. Speedo is spot on and shifting is good. Make sure you don't just plug in 33" though. Take an actual measurement of the tires sitting under your Jeep. Also if you ever do decide to change gears and get larger tires it will be a nice tool to have. You can also adjust other options with it as well such as TPMS.

Just read up when you get the procal. It fixed mine perfectly when I went from crap stock sport wheels to the rubicon wheels. Not only can you just do the tire size, there are many other options that you can adjust on your jeep. And this way, when you change tire size in the future, you can adjust without having to pay again.
