Default Procal will not restore. Help please.

I am selling my Jeep and trying to restore my procal, which I bought new from quadratec. It seams to work fine when setting something like tpms, but it will not honk 3 times when plugged in to restore. I get no honks at all, nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Tried again this morning and when I plugged it in to restore I could hear the radio sound cut out for a second like it did something and it reset my radio clock to 12:00. Still no 3 honks, but does this sound like it worked? I would hate to sell it to someone and have it not work for them.

Anyone with a similar experience that can comment.

I would try AEV's website FAQs and also they have a user's forum with technical info.

I had a similar issue

To fix it I had to set the tires to a random setting (different from where I had it) then the procal reset ok.

Found this solution on the aev forum

Your recommendation on the tpms and the instructions didn't help. I "think" it is resetting when I hear the radio cut off for a second and then come back on, but I never get the honks. I am basing this off the fact that the tpms light comes on, indicating to me that I no longer have the threshold lowered (which I had done with the Procal). I guess I will not know until someone else tries it on their Jeep. Maybe I can get a buddy to test it.

did you ever sort this out, it seems mine is doing the exact same thing, i guess the only way to know for sure is if it works on another jeep after the restore? did you ever try to see if it worked on another car?
