professional alignment after installing spacers?
I am about to install at least front 1" Terraflex leveling spacers. Maybe the 2" front and 1" rear. Instructions call for an alignment afterwards. Does this really affect the alignment significantly? What is everyone elses experience/advice?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I did a TF Leveling Kit (2inches in front, 1 inch in back) and everyone mentioned that I should get one. The way I figure it, you're moving your suspension around a whole lot....for $80 it's a smart idea. I don't however, have any evidence-based data to support this
You can do it yourself with some patience. Super easy

Great looking ride.
I did a leveling kit and did not get an alignment afterwards. It's not really needed since the only adjustments are centering the steering wheel and setting the toe, and your not messing with the toe adjustment and you can center the steering wheel yourself if needed. Teraflex is just covering there ass.

To fill that in a little more...
a 2" lift to the front will:
- Change your caster setting to a more upright setting - from 6.5* to 5* perhaps.
- Not affect your camber.
- Increase toe-in by a VERY small amount. Likely not noticeable by many..
Although some say it's not necessary, a 2" lift in the front will necessitate the need to re-center your steering.
The only settings that are adjustable on a stock suspended JK would be the toe-in and the draglink, (to center the wheel).
