Default Which programmer??

Alright people, sell me on one of these!

Flashpaq, AEV, SC, whatever else..

I need to recal my speedo (35" tires), I'll need to change shift points (5.13 gears), I want to increase engine power and MPG.

Thanks!

A friend recently gave me the AEV procal. It is great. For months my jeep has thought it still had 4.10s and 32s. It really has 35s and 5.13s. I think it made my Jeep drive better, and it gave me a little nudge in MPG. It is super ez to use, unlike the tuners that ask a million questions. Tuners are not really my thing so this is perfect for me.

The flashpaq looks really nice, and it is cool how you can program for different octane and performance needs. If I wanted a "tuner" I would def go with it.

I have the Hypertech and have been very happy with it. One of the biggest selling points for mw is that virtually none of the other tuners actually state the gains you can expect with their product, ie dyno sheets. They all claim performance gains but none of the other ones give any proof of said gains.

I am currently running the high octane tune with the Hypertech and it has definately improved power and mileage (as long as I keep my foot out of it). Have gotten as high as 19.5 mpg highway (70-75mph) and as low as 13 (85-90 mph). City is around 17, up from 15-16.

try using the search feature and you will find tons of posts. Jpop started a thread about his experiences and I know he is quite happy with the SC as are many others.

Had the Hypertech, then bought the SC Flashpaq. Already had a Flashpaq for my Dodge Ram and the Hypertech for the JK also worked with the Ram. Definitely ran the Flashpaq on my truck. Did some tests Hypertech/Flashpaq for the JK, dumped the Hypertech to another forum member for less than $200. In turn he also dumped it in favor of the Flashpaq. No need for a manufacturer sponsored dyno to tell me which one is better.
