Arrow Which Programmer

I was shopping for programmers currently considering the superchips VIVID, and the bully Dog I am just looking for better power, mileage, TPMS adjustment, and tire size setting, at the current time Because it is our current family truckster, but wanting a little more add on capable for 2 to 3 yrs down the road when I add more upgrades like exhaust, cold air intake, lockers and full lift. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I have and recommend the Superchips Vivid. Packed full of features and especially useful if you have an automatic with the advanced transmission tuning capability

I have a Hypertech Econ that I upgraded to Max. I just noticed that Hypertech has an offer up right now to do that upgrade for free. It has all the features you listed plus more, like adjustable throttle response (gave me a ton more power!) and idle adjustment. It's pretty simple to use and there's no installation, it's plug and play.

I must have missed it ... where are the features listed?

Not sure it will work on the 2012 JK's.

Gotta check on Hypertech's website, or on one of their reseller's sites for compatibility. The whole thing behind the programmer is that they're writing changes to the onboard computer's config. The Pentastar is completely different that the 3.8 so I bet it's a different model of Hypertech product.

I had the same concerns, which is why I went with the programmer, not an installed chip. If I have to take it to a dealer, I jsut program the computer back to stock (takes about 10 minutes)

No, actually I've had great results with the Hypertech Max and their new upgrade package (which was free). The throttle response adjustment feature is worth it alone, never mind anything else. They give you three ranges of adjustment - below 10mph, 11-40mph and above 40mph. I jacked up the first two ranges to +40% and the third range is up by 25%. It feels like a huge increase in HP.

The other stuff is handy too (like the idle speed settings and whatnot).

Sorry, Frick316 mentioned the features he's looking for in his original post.
