hypertech.....bought it used cheap. i don't really buy into the performance gains of any programmer, i just bought it so i could recalibrate the speedo and get my shift points back closer to stock.

Default programer

Started out with a JetChip 1, but went to a Superchip. Jet didn't seem to add much.

nobody talks about fuel milage difference. Is there a big difference between the two programmers and whats the difference from stock to programmed. Even if hypertech is better on gas i like the sound of the crawl mode with sc

That was the same opinion I had with the Hypertech before I bought the SC Flashpaq. I would go through the process of changing octanes and settings to try to convince myself I felt something out of the MaxEnergy, but never did. I'd see the posts on this forum where others were having success with Hypertech and I realized I wasn't sharing in it. I also saw a fair amount of people who shared my experience and weren't realizing any gains as well, despite a spiffy looking dyno sheet that said Hypertech was providing performance.

Anyway, I too would share these thoughts if my experience was limited to the Hypertech, but fortunately that's not the case.

I was thinking about Hypertech, but after reading so many positive reviews on the Superchips, that is what I will be going with.

I went with the Hypertech. It was the only one out at the time. I wanted to make sure my speedo was right. With my job I can't afford to get a ticket, plus I wanted my mileage as close to correct as possible.

JP Magazine has shootout on tuners in the new November issue, they cover the AEV Procal, Hypertech, Flashpaq, Jet and Unichip.

I've got a 2010 JK and currently Hypertech & SuperChips do not support 2010 models and tech support could not provide an ETA when they will, so the procal was my only option.
