So far I am looking at the TrailDash. Seems like it has the most options.

 

You can just unplug it after you are done with what ever tune you want to install. I keep it plugged in because I like the different gauges that it offers. I have been completely happy with it so far.

 

I just installed a Flashpaq 87 tune on my 14 two days ago. Night and day difference.

 

I have the Trail Dash and I'm very happy with it. I've used it offroad quite a few times and like the options for setting up different gauges and the ability to operate the Rubicon lockers independently. But my favorite part is increase in MPG. I installed the TD at the same time I added new bumpers, armor, lift and 35's - probably adding about 400 pounds to the JK. I went from 12.5 MPG running 33's to 16.6 MPG running 35's and running the 87 tune. I do also have a K&N CAI and MagnaFlow exhaust, which I am sure helps with the increase in MPG.

This was on a trip from CA to AZ running cruise control.

 

I've had the traildash for almost a year and I really like it. I leave it plugged in all the time and mounted in the available dash pod. Totally customizable. I like all the different gauges and info you can get from it. I started using the 91 octane tune and what a huge difference from stock. I think it was the gearing change that made all the difference. I didn't notice any change in mileage though. I've since gone to the tune that's supposed to save you gas. Not really sure it saves anything... But I'm able to save a bit of cash at the pump using 87 instead if 82 octane. But performance seems to be on par with the higher octane tune.

 

I've had both the traildash and the bullydog. By far I would recommend the traildash. I did a review on these and the install of them less than a month ago. I would copy the link but can't get it from my phone.

I have a question. How do you route the cable for a permanent install? I plan on using the supper chip dash mount.

 

I ran it straight out of the back of the unit to the bottom of the windshield. Then pushed it below the seal over to the side of the dash where I removed the panel on the side and ran it back where the speaker is and plugged it in. This is on a 2013 so that may change a little based on which interior you have. Not sure how the 07-11s are.

 

I have an 07 and I ran the cable from the obd2 port up thru the dash to the dash pod from underneath. Since the pod replaces the top panel above the radio, the cable goes straight up thru and is totally hidden beneath panels.
